What Doctors Are Saying
Dr. Mark Hyman

“Health coaches are the missing link in our healthcare system. Doctors have the knowledge, but health coaches have the time, skills, and tools to help patients make lasting behavior change.”
Dr. Joel Fuhrmann
Longevity Outrider
"We spend billions on medical solutions for problems that stem from everyday living. Health coaches are essential because they meet people where they are, helping them transform their daily choices long before a prescription is ever needed."
Dr. Andrew Weil
Integrative Medicine Outrider
“The medicine of the future isn't a pill—it's lifestyle change. Health coaches are essential because they bridge the gap between medical advice and daily life, turning recommendations into sustainable habits.”

Most people know what healthy choices look like—eating whole foods, sleeping long and deeply, preventing chronic stress, and moving regularly. But making that knowledge a sustainable lifestyle, especially when things are complex or busy is a challenge many of us never manage to meet.
Health coaching fills that gap.
A health coach is a trained specialist in behavior change, lifestyle modification, and human performance. Rather than giving you a generic, one-size-fits-all plan or telling you what to do, a coach works alongside you to help you clarify your goals, uncover what’s getting in the way, and create realistic strategies tailored to your life and physiology.
Here’s how the process typically unfolds:
Coaching is Client-Led and Individualized: You are the expert in your own life. Coaching honors your values, preferences, and schedule to build an approach that fits.
We Court Evidence-Based Behavior Change: Small, deliberate shifts compound over time. We focus on habits that stick long after our sessions end.
The Capacity to Hold an Integrative Vision Is Valuable: Health isn't one metric. We look at the interplay of movement, nutrition, sleep, resilience, daily energy, and more.
We Offer Accountability and Partnership: Coaching provides structured guidance, continuous feedback, and a supportive, non-judgmental space that lets you adapt as you go.
-
We look for clients who:
Recognize the body-mind connection: You’re open to the idea that your symptoms, patterns, and coping mechanisms are not isolated accidents, but coordinated responses to your experience.
Value prevention: You want to improve your health before you experience symptoms and are open to exploring cutting-edge ideas about health care.
Are ready to face uncertainty and discomfort: You’re open to staying with physical and emotional discomfort in a culture built around the embrace of the positive and escape from the negative.
Have the stamina and motivation for inquiry: You are game to do challenging internal work and translate those insights into daily practice.
Are at any age or stage of life and any gender. While the training leading to my certification took place in a female-focused organization, the same principles apply to everyone, and we’re just learning how young health-related patterns are set. It’s better to do this work at mid-life than in old age, better in our 20s than our 40s, and better in our teens than any of the above. But the most important time to start is now.
May have specific longevity concerns. My mother had Alzheimer’s for 18 years, so I’m particularly interested in dementia prevention and management in the early stages, when degenerative changes can often be delayed or reversed. I am enrolled in specialized training that promotes advanced lifestyle choices to address pre-dementia and early dementia, so if you want to prevent, delay, or reverse cognitive decline, this is a supportive environment.
If you’re ready to dismantle your resistance to cultivating lasting metabolic, cognitive, and psychological health, you’re in the right place.
